GÜNDER Accredited Vocational Qualification Center (GÜNDERMYM)
GÜNDER Accredited Vocational Qualification Center contributes to the development of a qualified workforce in the renewable energy sector by providing exam and certification services. GÜNDERMYM issues internationally recognized vocational qualification certificates in Photovoltaic Power Systems and Solar Thermal Systems Personnel.
GÜNDERMYM was accredited by TÜRKAK on December 9, 2022, according to the ISO 17024 standard. With this accreditation, it gained the authority to issue certification in four different occupational fields, including Photovoltaic Power Systems and Solar Thermal Systems, under the code AB-0476-B. Additionally, MYK authorized GÜNDERMYM to conduct exams and issue certificates in the same fields on March 1, 2023, under the code YB-0342. These professions are defined as Photovoltaic Power Systems Personnel Level 4 and Level 5, and Solar Thermal Systems Personnel Level 4 and Level 5.
The exams conducted by GÜNDERMYM are carried out in two stages: Theoretical and Performance exams.
1- Theoretical Exam: The candidates’ knowledge level on energy systems is evaluated in writing.
2- Performance Exam: The candidates’ practical skills are assessed through hands-on exams in a real work environment.
To obtain the Vocational Qualification Certificate, candidates must succeed in both exams. This process demonstrates the candidates’ qualifications in both theoretical and practical aspects of the industry.
Successful candidates are awarded a Vocational Qualification Certificate with Europass Certificate Annex. This certificate is prepared in two languages and, together with the Europass certificate annex, increases the recognition of the document across Europe and provides internationally recognized qualifications in the global labor market.
By issuing certificates in areas such as Photovoltaic Power Systems and Solar Thermal Systems, GÜNDER Vocational Qualification Center plays a key role in developing a qualified and certified workforce for the renewable energy sector. These certificates serve as a reference for professionals in the energy sector, proving their vocational qualifications and helping meet the sector’s demand for skilled workers.
